At Calvander Church, our congregation not only meets on Sunday mornings for worship service, but also meets in a variety of small groups that get together throughout the week.  These activities enable us to encourage one another in our daily walks with Christ.  Some of them include:

• Tuesday Morning Coffee breaks at Open Eye Cafe
• Wednesday Adult Bible Study
• Thursday Band Practice
• Movie Nights

We also have ministries within our local community.

• Annual Easter Egg Hunt at McDougle School
• Christmas Caroling in Calvander

In addition, we combine our resources with other churches in order to make a greater impact not only within our local community, but also at a state, national and even at an international level with the Baptist State Convention of NC and the Yates Baptist Association.

But what about the kids?  Children are an important group in our congregation.  In fact, many of our events are geared towards a family environment, where children, youth, and adults work side-by-side.
